A leading independent girls' school in Hillingdon, West London, seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher with a specialism in Athletics. This full-time, permanent position, commencing in January 2025, offers an exciting opportunity to promote physical literacy, healthy lifestyles, and a love of sport in a supportive and empowering learning environment.

The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on Athletics.
- Develop Physical Literacy: Develop students' fundamental movement skills, coordination, and physical literacy, promoting a lifelong love of physical activity.
- Coach and Mentor: Coach school sports teams and mentor students in their chosen sports, encouraging participation and healthy competition.
- Athletics Expertise: Share your passion and expertise in Athletics, coaching students in various track and field events and helping them to achieve their athletic potential.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Physical Education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Athletics coaching techniques, safety procedures, and pedagogical approaches.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Physical Education department.
