UI / Frontend experience engineer - 
Seeking a talented and experienced UI / Frontend Experience Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of our digital banking platform. Candidate will be responsible for crafting exceptional user interfaces and experiences, translating design mockups into functional and visually appealing web applications, and ensuring seamless integration with backend services. Ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative, and innovation-driven engineer with a strong passion for building intuitive and performant web applications.
## Responsibilities
Develop and implement user-facing features and components of the platform using modern frontend technologies.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate design wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect and responsive web applications.
Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
Implement state management solutions utilizing Redux or MobX to create efficient and maintainable data flows.
Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality with backend systems.
Write clean, modular, testable, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing, including unit and integration tests (e.g., using Jest), to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of frontend features.
Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the platform's innovation and efficiency.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
## Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in front-end development, specifically building dynamic web applications and user interfaces.
Proven expertise in the following UI techstack:
React 16+
Redux or Mobx for state management
Node.js
TypeScript
ES6+ JavaScript
CSS3 with experience in CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less)
Proficient in grid layout and responsive design techniques
Experience with REST API implementations
Strong understanding and experience with Jest for UI testing
Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and accessibility standards.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within an Agile team environment
Previous lead experience in a UI/Frontend Engineer role.
Experience with web performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
