They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to manage critical, high-performance systems supporting national security initiatives within a classified environment.

The Role

• Lead system administration for both Linux and Windows-based systems in secure, mission-critical environments.
• Architect, manage, and optimize complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Perform OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in compliance with stringent security standards.
• Monitor and tune system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex issues.
• Support backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery plans, and continuity of operations.
• Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP).
• Proven experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS) and Windows Server platforms.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and automation/scripting tools (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience supporting IC or DoD classified environments and familiarity with STIG compliance.
