The MTV OHS Program Manager serves as the primary occupational health and safety leader for the MTV campus and surrounding corporate locations. This role is embedded to a single customer account and is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving OHS programs that support a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace. Working collaboratively with business leaders, facilities, security, engineering, and global OHS teams, the successful candidate will provide strategic guidance, manage risk, drive regulatory compliance, and help foster a strong culture of safety across a diverse and evolving work environment. As the organization grows, the scope of this role may expand to support additional U.S. locations.
Required:
- 7+ years of occupational health and safety (OHS) experience in corporate, laboratory, manufacturing, technology, or similarly complex environments.
- Experience managing OHS programs across multiple locations and business functions.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and overseeing regulatory compliance programs, risk assessments, incident management, and corrective action processes.
- Experience partnering with business leaders, facilities teams, security, engineering, and employee services organizations.
- Experience working within a matrixed, global organization and collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities and provide strategic OHS guidance across diverse operations.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting laboratory, technical, or research environments preferred.
- ASP, CSP, CIH or similar, or ability to obtain such certification preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to assess workplace risks and develop practical risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and technical subject matter experts.
- Strong project management and program execution skills.
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global governance model while supporting local business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
