Systems Engineer - to 50k - hybrid working
I'm looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering team delivering complex, safety-critical projects. If you enjoy solving challenging technical problems, working across multidisciplinary teams, and seeing projects through the full engineering lifecycle, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering high-integrity engineering solutions, supporting projects from concept through to commissioning. Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll be involved in requirements capture, systems architecture, interface management, verification & validation, and technical assurance.

- Supporting systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.
- Capturing and managing customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Developing system architectures, functional models and interface definitions.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, controls and software disciplines.
- Supporting verification, validation and integration activities.
- Contributing to safety cases, hazard analysis and risk assessments.
- Assisting with technical bids, design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or HND/HNC qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Experience delivering engineering projects using systems engineering principles.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS, SysML, UML or similar.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within nuclear or another highly regulated industry would be highly advantageous.
- Professional registration or INCOSE certification is desirable but not essential.
