Title: Python Integration Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON Canada (Onsite)

Hands-on Integration Engineer (Senior / Lead level) to build low-latency backend APIs, real-time message streams, and automated data pipelines. The ideal candidate must excel in Python, REST APIs, Cloud (specifically Microsoft Azure), and modern Database architectures.

Core Technical Stack (Must-Haves)

• Python Backend Mastery: Look for 5+ years of experience in core Python using asynchronous frameworks like FastAPI or AsyncIO (Django REST/Flask are also good, but async experience is preferred).
• API Design & Standards: Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs, implementing OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and managing authentication standards (OAuth 2.0 / JWT).
• Databases (SQL & NoSQL): Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL plus NoSQL document stores (such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Azure Cosmos DB).
• Cloud Platform (Azure Preferred): Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure DevOps) or strong AWS serverless experience.
• Containerization & DevOps: Practical experience with Docker containers and basic CI/CD pipeline automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
