Application Developer for Incoming/Outgoing Payments Systems (f/m/d) Coburg, Bavaria, Germany

Here's what you can look forward to

• Further development of the existing cash-in/cash-out system based on business requirements
• Analysis and technical implementation of business processes and requirements
• Integration and maintenance of existing application systems
• Further development of the application landscape in HOST, client-server, and microservices environments
• Collaboration on the modernization of existing applications and their migration to modern architectures
• Collaboration with business units, IT colleagues, and other project stakeholders

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field, or vocational training as an IT specialist
• Practical experience in application software development, ideally in a regulated environment
• Knowledge and experience in development on the IBM mainframe, e.g., using PL/1 and DB/2
• Alternatively, knowledge and experience in developing microservices in Java, e.g., with Spring Boot on OpenShift
• Analytical skills for quickly grasping and systematically implementing complex issues
• A sense of responsibility, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Willingness to learn new subject areas and business-fluent German (at least C1 level)
