Job description

Great opportunity for a Java Tech Lead to join a software consultancy as they go through a scale-up following a number of significant project wins in the iGaming industry.

The company is at the forefront of AI-native software engineering, they employ over 500 people and have a strong presence across the UK.

As a Java Tech Lead, you ll lead a product-based team and will be responsible for driving delivery and providing technical direction whilst also dealing with stakeholders and the ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced environment.

The team operates with a "you build it, you run it" mentality, owning all aspects of the systems they work on, from design through to deployment and supporting them in production.

Skills:

  • Java and Spring Boot
  • REST APIs and Kafka event-driven systems
  • AWS (including S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, MSK)
  • TDD, CI/CD and IaC
  • Observability
  • AI assisted engineering

In return they're offering a remote-first 6-month contract outside IR35 that's paying up to £600pd.

To be suitable for this role you must be UK based have prior experience in the iGaming or betting industries.
