Engineer Systems II with Security Clearance

Position Title: Engineer Systems II Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides engineering support for network, telephone, and media infrastructure, performing design, integration, and analysis to enhance the NUWCDIVNPT communications environment.   Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Provide network, telephone, and media engineering services including design and integration
• Perform testing to verify functional requirements and analyze results
• Prepare system designs, drawings, topology maps, and technical specifications
• Develop feasibility studies, recommendations, and plans of action and milestones
• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• Engineering experience with network, telephone, or media systems
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
