The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks accurately and safely. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment checks to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
