Pay Range: $51/hr - $53/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to frame problems, define success metrics, and translate requirements into analytical and ML solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing on large, complex datasets in BigQuery.
• Develop, train, and tune supervised and unsupervised models for various use cases such as demand forecasting and customer segmentation.
• Engineer and manage reusable features using Vertex AI Feature Store and BigQuery.
• Utilize Vertex AI AutoML and BigQuery ML for rapid prototyping, and custom training with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Build generative AI applications using Gemini models and foundation models from Vertex AI Model Garden.
• Implement MLOps practices by building end-to-end ML workflows using Vertex AI Pipelines and deploying models for online and batch prediction.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design scalable data pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
• Present insights and model results to technical and executive audiences using clear storytelling and visualizations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in coding and model governance.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 9+ years of experience in Data Science and ML Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in Python, SQL, machine learning, deep learning, and Google Cloud Platform.
• 2+ years of experience in Vertex AI, model deployment, ML pipelines, BigQuery, MLOps, Docker, CI/CD, and statistical analysis.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience with Vertex AI for model training, deployment, and pipeline orchestration in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and advanced SQL, especially in BigQuery.
• Practical experience with at least one deep learning framework such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, experimental design (A/B testing), and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD practices for ML.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
