Job Description

Senior Test Engineer | Hybrid

We're hiring for a leading European system house within the military land systems industry, known for its cutting-edge product portfolio including combat vehicles, highly protected wheeled vehicles, and artillery systems. The Role

  • Develop test strategies for electronic vehicle systems to expand test coverage and increase system robustness.
  • Continuously advance existing test concepts and drive the standardization of test procedures across different levels of the V-model.
  • Conceptualize commissioning and test equipment for circuit boards and electronic components, focusing on expanding test automation.
  • Accompany operational tests in close collaboration with developers, QM staff, and external test partners, coordinating suppliers and ensuring structured test execution.
  • Utilize synergies in testing topics within the context of series production to increase efficiency.
  • Contribute expertise to the evaluation of test results and participate in the creation of standardized test reports.

What You'll Need

  • A completed engineering degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor, Diploma, or Master) or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of practical experience in testing electronic components with complex software.
  • Profound knowledge of testing, digital, and analog technology, ideally supplemented by experience in video technology.
  • Experience with microprocessors from the STM32, Zynq UltraScale, or Infineon Aurix families is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of requirements engineering and development processes according to the V-model and IEC 61508 or ISO 26262.
  • Independent, structured teamwork skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and confident communication in German and English.
