Experience

8+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years specializing in Salesforce Release Management, DevOps, or Application Delivery.

Direct the planning, coordination, governance, and deployment of Salesforce releases across multiple environments. Oversee end-to-end release activities, collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams, enforce enterprise release compliance, and drive seamless deployments with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Salesforce release calendar and deployment schedule.
• Coordinate releases across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure release readiness.
• Manage deployment activities for production, UAT, SIT, and lower environments.
• Conduct release planning, risk assessment, and impact analysis.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise change management and release governance processes.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) approvals and release reviews.
• Coordinate code freezes, deployment windows, rollback planning, and post-release validations.
• Track deployment dependencies across Salesforce and integrated systems.
• Monitor release metrics, deployment success rates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage emergency, hotfix, and patch releases as required.
• Communicate release status, risks, issues, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure production support teams are prepared for releases and post-deployment activities.

• Salesforce: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Security & Data Management, Deployment Best Practices.
• Release & DevOps: Release Management, CI/CD Pipeline Management, Environment Management, Change Management, Release Governance, Incident & Problem Coordination, Risk Management.
• Tools: Copado (Preferred), Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salesforce DX (SFDX), GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of total IT experience.
• 4+ years of Salesforce release or deployment management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-team Salesforce releases.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata deployment strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise change management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator Certification
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
• Salesforce DevOps Center experience
• Copado Fundamentals or Copado Release Management Certification
• PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or ITIL Certification
• Healthcare/Payer domain experience
