Description
Robert Half is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator II to support an educational organization based in Portland, OR. This role involves maintaining and supporting their technology infrastructure, including network systems, servers, data center operations, and major business applications. The position is onsite that is 6-12 months contract with a potential opportunity to extend/convert. Apply today!

Schedule: 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade network, server, storage, telecommunications, audio/visual (A/V), and infrastructure systems across multiple district locations to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
• Respond to system outages, infrastructure-related service requests, and support incidents, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution. Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, security systems, backup solutions, and access management technologies.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and escalation support to team members while assisting with the resolution of complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Experience administering and supporting complex enterprise infrastructure environments, including networks, servers, and related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support network infrastructure, server environments, virtualization technologies, security solutions, and A/V systems.
• Experience designing, implementing, documenting, and supporting infrastructure upgrades, system configurations, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environments, including system configuration, performance tuning, patch management, and user access administration.
• Utilize network monitoring and configuration management tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
• Leverage JIRA or comparable project management and ticketing platforms to track tasks, manage workflows, document technical work, and prioritize support requests.
