NTP Teacher | Stafford, United Kingdom | Hybrid

We are hiring for an impact-driven community that is transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to take control of your teaching journey and make a real difference in your community by providing flexible, creative, and trauma-informed support to vulnerable learners.

The Role

  • Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1-KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
  • Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
  • Work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
  • Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with special educational needs.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
  • Familiarity teaching English, Maths, or Science.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
  • Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
  • Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
