Job Overview

 

Our client is seeking an experienced FGPP Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the technical focal point for FGPP in production environments. This is a hands-on role responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues, leading customer-facing technical engagements, and providing expert-level guidance to L1 and L2 support teams.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manage escalations from L2 for complex and advanced FGPP issues; escalate to L3 when code fixes are required
• Identify root causes, recreate issues, analyse traces, and provide immediate workarounds
• Perform complex configurations (Pre/Post rules) and check-in to BA Master for project branches
• Analyse FGPP core tables and fields (logical fields, xpath, object rules, profile_udfs, cache_refresh)
• Review payment processing flows and compare against errors to pinpoint issues
• Support QA/L2 in testing fixes and collaborate with Production Development (L3) and Product Management
• Provide setup and configuration solutions directly to customers

Required Skills

 

• Strong, proven FGPP issue/case analysis: triage, recreation, and trace analysis
• Deep FGPP business and functional knowledge
• Hands-on FGPP configuration experience: profiles and rules setup (not only design)
• Experience with FGPP (not Classic GPP) within the last 3 years
• Proficiency with GUI, DB, and trace-based analysis

Preferred Skills

 

• Experience supporting L1/L2 teams in a consultative capacity
• Familiarity with payment processing flows and error resolution
• Experience working with Advisors and PAS Leads

Fully remote – must be based in the USA.
