SAP PP with VC Consultant:

• 10+ years of SAP PP functional experience, including at least 3 4 full-cycle implementation, rollout, or major enhancement projects.

• Strong, hands-on expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (VC):
• Characteristics, classes, dependency types (procedures, constraints, preconditions)
• Configuration profiles, variant tables, variant class hierarchies
• Super BOM and Super Routing setup
• Proven experience implementing and supporting both Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order planning strategies in a discrete manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of MRP configuration, planning strategies, requirement types/classes, and availability check (ATP/CTP).
• Strong knowledge of discrete production order processing: order creation, confirmation, goods issue/receipt, and order settlement.
• Experience integrating VC with SD (configurable sales orders, variant pricing) and VC with CO (sales order costing, valuated/non-valuated stock).
• Working knowledge of BOM and Routing management, including engineering changes and variant-specific master data.
• Experience with capacity planning and work center configuration.
• Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on enhancements (BAdIs, user exits, dependency coding).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead discussions with both business and technical teams.
