Supervisor - M&S Simply Food

Supervisor, £30,000 per annum, 40 hours per week

As a Supervisor, you'll be the strong right hand to your Store Manager, taking the lead when needed and helping to keep the unit running smoothly and successfully every day.

The role is simple, to be an enthusiastic leader and brand ambassador to work within one of the nation’s premium grab and go stores, offering M&S Simply Food’s handy range of high-quality food whilst delivering exceptional service as we transform the UK’s rest stop experience.

What you will be doing as a Supervisor:

• Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth operations during busy trading periods

• Create a positive, high-energy culture where colleagues feel valued, supported, and empowered

• Maintain outstanding food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards at all times

• Monitor performance through key metrics and take action to drive continuous improvement

• Act as a role model for M&S's values, service standards, and ways of working

What you’ll bring to us:

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams ideally within retail, hospitality, catering, or customer service

• Passion for delivering a memorable customer experience

• Great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions

• Ability to work on own initiative ad make reasoned decisions under pressure
