Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader - 05.30am - 14.00pm, Monday - Friday

£13.48 p/h

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Production Team Leader to join our Packing Centre team in Lacock.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous leadership experience within a production or manufacturing environment who enjoys leading from the front. You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of your team, helping to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, efficiency and compliance.

You’ll work closely with the wider operational team to keep production running smoothly, support and develop colleagues, monitor performance and identify opportunities to continually improve how we work.

You will:

• Make sure production equipment is set up correctly and carry out basic fault-finding to minimise stoppages.
• Monitor performance across production planning, egg utilisation, quality, labour, waste, downtime, utilities and stock accuracy.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure production documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with audit requirements.
• Review production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members, identifying training and performance support requirements.
• Deliver clear shift handovers to incoming Team Leaders and Managers, maintaining continuity across the operation

• Previous leadership experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
• A basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
• A good standard of English and Maths.
• A proactive, practical approach and the confidence to lead a team in a fast-paced working environment.
