They are seeking a driven Data Scientist to support a rapidly expanding data science team working on projects vital to national security. The Role • Build statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to create automated solutions for complex challenges. • Design and execute intricate database queries across multiple systems using SQL and API interfaces. • Implement web scraping techniques and processes for handling unstructured data. • Utilize automation and machine learning for data management, scenario prediction, and data-driven recommendations. • Learn and apply technologies such as AWS and Git. What You'll Need • U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. • Bachelor's degree in a technical domain with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in Python. • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data extraction via APIs. • Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, and natural language processing (NLP), including familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, TensorFlow). • Knowledge of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science fundamentals, data architecture, and statistical methods. • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).
