Job description

Position: Java Lead

Location: San Antonio, TX

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Java (8 or above)
  • Spring Boot / Spring MVC
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Hibernate / JPA
  • Experience building REST APIs and integration services

Cloud & Modern Tech

  • Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform)
  • Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes

Database

  • Strong in SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB) – good to have

DevOps & Tools

  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
  • Version control: Git
  • Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools

Functional Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
