Pediatrician (m/f/d) for Neuropediatric Training | Ebersberg, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join a leading specialized center for pediatric neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, and epileptology. This renowned facility is a certified epilepsy center for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on epilepsy surgery and early rehabilitation. We offer a multidisciplinary approach within a state-of-the-art environment, collaborating with leading academic institutions.

The Role

• Undertake structured neuropediatric training following an internal curriculum, with consideration for individual specialization interests.
• Gain comprehensive experience across all areas of the specialized center, including presurgical epilepsy monitoring, conservative epileptology, intermediate care, home ventilation, and rehabilitation.
• Develop expertise in the diagnosis and therapy of neurological conditions, including EEG and cMRT interpretation, motor assessment, assistive device provision, and botulinum toxin treatment.
• Deepen knowledge in video-EEG long-term monitoring (non-invasive and invasive) and intraoperative monitoring, with opportunities to obtain an EEG certificate.
• Contribute to a highly specialized team in presurgical epilepsy diagnostics and epilepsy surgery, utilizing modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
• Benefit from regular one-on-one teaching and supervision by experienced epileptology senior physicians for targeted professional development.

What You'll Need

• A strong interest in neuropediatrics and epileptology; prior experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of working within an interdisciplinary team.
• High levels of empathy and dedication to supporting children with complex and chronic neurological conditions and their families.
• A medical degree and relevant professional qualifications as a Pediatrician.
