Job Description

Vertex LLC is a leading behavioral health organization located in New York City, committed to providing exceptional care to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive OASAS Facilities Coordinator to manage and oversee the maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of all OASAS-licensed facilities. The Facilities Coordinator will ensure that all sites meet organizational standards and OASAS requirements, supporting the ongoing delivery of high-quality services in a safe and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of facility maintenance and safety across all OASAS-licensed sites.
  • Coordinate inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with OASAS standards and local regulations.
  • Serve as liaison with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding facility-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of facility inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to address facility needs and support program operations.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness planning and implementation to ensure client and staff safety.
  • Support budgeting and procurement processes related to facility management.
  • Previous experience in facilities coordination, management, or a related field, preferably within healthcare or behavioral health settings.
  • Knowledge of OASAS regulations and facility compliance standards is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency preparedness planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software.
