Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer with a strong healthcare background to design, develop, and deploy advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, MLOps, and healthcare data systems, along with hands-on experience working with EMR/EHR data, clinical analytics, and healthcare compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable AI/ML models for healthcare use cases.
• Develop predictive analytics, clinical decision support, patient risk stratification, and operational intelligence solutions.
• Implement Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and healthcare-focused AI applications.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, model training workflows, and MLOps environments.
• Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into AI solutions.
• Process and analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data from EHR/EMR systems.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Monitor model performance, retraining strategies, and production deployments.
• Develop APIs and cloud-native AI solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering and data science experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and related ML frameworks.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI technologies.
• Expertise in NLP, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI.
• Experience working with healthcare datasets, EHR/EMR platforms, FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing healthcare chatbots, virtual assistants, or clinical AI solutions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and population health analytics.
• Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, and LLM fine-tuning.
• AI/ML certifications from Microsoft, AWS, Google, or equivalent.
