Senior Software Engineer, EC2 VPC

Lead the design, development, and integration testing of EC2 networking products and features running on the Nitro System. Own software architecture and engineering practices for a software-defined networking dataplane team, shape technical roadmaps, and mentor engineers building scalable cloud networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, scope, implement, and integration-test EC2 products and features running on the Nitro System.
• Set development processes, tools, and automation standards to improve team productivity and quality.
• Own team architecture and define engineering, design, and coding best practices.
• Identify business problems and opportunities and influence technical roadmaps for the team and partners.
• Mentor engineers in project scoping, design, and development of scalable, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and cross-functional teams on requirements and system architecture.
