Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Capital Markets, Fixed Income products, and Electronic Trading platforms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, enhance, and support front-office trading applications while working closely with traders, business stakeholders, and technology teams in a fast-paced financial environment.
Candidates with strong hands-on development experience in Java along with relevant Fixed Income and Electronic Trading domain experience, are encouraged to apply.
Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on development experience in Java
• Proven experience with Fixed Income products and trading workflows.
• Experience working with Electronic Trading (E-Trading) platforms.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Front Office environments.
• Experience developing and supporting high-performance, business-critical applications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Fixed Income products, including Bonds, US Treasuries, Credit, and Interest Rates.
• Experience with FIX Protocol and market connectivity solutions.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and database development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support trading applications used by Fixed Income business teams.
• Collaborate with traders, sales teams, business analysts, and technology stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
• Enhance Electronic Trading platform functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, and application reliability.
• Support business-critical applications in a fast-paced Front Office environment.
• Follow development best practices and participate in Agile delivery activities.
