Senior AI Engineer - Lead Production ML/AI Solutions

Join our AI Development team as a Senior AI Engineer and spearhead the creation of innovative AI solutions that transform how Australian businesses operate. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated machine learning models for production environments
• Lead the development of AI-powered features across our product suite
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate research into scalable solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews
• Optimise AI model performance and ensure robust deployment pipelines
• Stay current with latest AI research and implement best practices

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles
• Expert proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in natural language processing or computer vision
• Knowledge of distributed computing and big data technologies
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience
