Job Description
The Product Manager/Analyst for Asset Management specializing in Alternative Investments will be responsible for managing and analyzing products within the alternative investments space. This role requires a combination of strategic product management skills and analytical expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and client expectations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, market analysis, and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for alternative investment products.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market trends, customer feedback, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to deliver product enhancements and new features.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
- Analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights through data-driven analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Engage with internal teams and external clients to gather feedback and ensure alignment with product goals.
- Communicate product updates and performance insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure products comply with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor risk factors associated with alternative investment products and incorporate mitigation strategies into product planning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product management or business analysis within asset management or alternative investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to asset management is a plus.
- Basic asset management knowledge.
- Understanding of risk and controls is a plus.
- Experience within PMO structure.
- Strong PowerPoint/deck creation skills.
- Highly client-facing, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive conversations and manage expectations.
- 8-10+ years of experience.
