Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform a variety of tasks while working onsite at our Hyannis, MA location.
Key Responsibilities
OBJECTIVES
- Rework product to meet production goals.
- Work with Operations to track and ensure completion of rework objectives.
- Assist the supply chain personnel with activities related to reworking components.
DUTIES
- Follow written procedures.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Utilize manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
- Companion rework. Load software and update firmware on our companion modules.
- Thermostat conversion.
- Keypad conversion
- Build power distribution units
- Computer skills – learn Salesforce
- Pressing buttons into keypads.
- This person will also be trained to learn shipping duties, which you will do a few hours per day.
- Printing labels & quick reference guides QRG’s.
TECHNOLOGY
- Home Automation / Smart Home technology products such as: Smart Light Bulbs, Smart Electrical Plugs, Smart Thermostats, Smart Keypads.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoors, very clean, quiet, temperature controlled.
- A combination of sitting and standing in the performance of job duties.

Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform consistent operations.
- Experience working in a production environment is a plus, but not necessary. We will train.
- Good communication skills to identify any issues.
- Comfortable working with Apple iOS devices.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
COMPENSATION
- The pay range is $22 - $25 per hour DOE. The pay range listed is an estimate. Pay at Savant is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
