PeopleSoft Application Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Kansas City, MO that is seeking a PeopleSoft Application Administrator to support and enhance the client's enterprise PeopleSoft ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in supporting PeopleTools and PUM upgrade initiatives, maintaining platform health across multiple environments, and providing ongoing operational support for PeopleSoft applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical administrator with proven experience leading PeopleTools upgrade projects, implementing PUM images, managing complex PeopleSoft environments, and troubleshooting integrations. This position will help accelerate platform modernization efforts while ensuring system stability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support PeopleTools upgrade initiatives, including the organization's roadmap from PeopleTools 8.60 to 8.62 and upcoming adoption of PeopleTools 8.63
• Plan, coordinate, and execute PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) image implementations and maintenance activities
• Administer and support enterprise PeopleSoft environments including Development, Test, UAT, and Production
• Manage PeopleSoft application infrastructure and environment health across multiple application suites
• Perform system administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support activities
• Partner with application, infrastructure, database, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of upgrades and enhancements
• Administer PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, and CRM environments
• Support PeopleSoft architecture components, including Integration Broker and search frameworks
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and integration-related issues
• Manage and support OpenSearch enhancements within PeopleSoft environments
• Collaborate with Oracle Database administrators and infrastructure teams to resolve platform-related issues
• Support Linux/Unix and Windows-based PeopleSoft server environments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated success leading PeopleTools upgrade initiatives
• Proven experience planning and implementing PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) image upgrades
• Experience administering PeopleSoft environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production
• Strong troubleshooting experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker
• Experience supporting enterprise PeopleSoft application environments
• Experience with Oracle Database-backed PeopleSoft environments
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix and Windows server platforms
• Experience with OpenSearch technologies within PeopleSoft environments
• Strong documentation skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
