Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a tech-focused market maker with groundbreaking success in the high frequency trading space. With a company culture that's competitive yet collaborative, they leverage the most advanced technology to ensure they have the fastest and most reliable trading systems in the world.
They are looking for exceptional engineers who want to shape the future of C++ builds across the firm. You'll design and roll out modern systems that accelerate build times, improve reliability and create a more consistent developer experience. To do this, you will develop common build libraries, reusable CI/CD pipelines and container images, and build observability into the platform to measure performance, reliability & adoption, and use that data to guide further improvements. You'll work closely with engineering teams to understand friction in existing workflows, turning those problems into scalable solutions, and helping them adopt new tools.
Joining a highly talented and growing DevEx team, you'll be expected to have a passion for improving developer productivity and a desire to help engineers and agents to move from idea to production-ready software with speed and confidence.
Requirements
  • Deep experience with C++ build systems and developer tooling
  • Hands-on experience designing, adopting, or operating modern build systems, e.g. Bazel, Buck2, Pants, or Gradle (ideally including migration from established tooling)
  • Strong understanding of build system concepts, including incremental builds, caching, reproducibility, dependency graphs, remote execution, and artifact management
  • Significant experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g. GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Jenkins or similar)
  • Deep-level understanding of the end-to-end SDLC
  • Familiarity with source control platforms such as GitHub and GitLab

Benefits
  • Incredible salary + profit-sharing structure
  • Direct business impact with short feedback loop
  • Work with the best people in the industry from over 40 countries in a fun, stimulating office environment
  • Outstanding benefits package, including fully paid commuting expenses, breakfast and lunch facilities, regular social activities and more

Whilst we carefully review all applications, to all jobs, due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not possible to respond to those who have not been successful.
