Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur m/w/d | Braunschweig, Germany | On-site This employer is a key player in the energy infrastructure sector, contributing significantly to the energy transition in Northern Germany. The Role • Realize new construction and modernization projects for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations across Northern Germany. • Assemble steel structures for 110kV to 380kV switchgear, including air- and gas-insulated systems. • Install high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical installations, including components like HV terminals, suspended and supporting insulators. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly, including cable pulling. • Review and mark up plan documents with revisions. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith or metalworker (e.g., Metallbauer, Industriemechaniker, Konstruktionsmechaniker, Anlagenmechaniker) or a comparable qualification. • Professional experience in locksmithing, preferably from the construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or a related metal processing industry. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to sites with your own vehicle. • Readiness for regular on-site assignments from Monday to Thursday across Northern Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work ethic.
