With a network of branches across WA, QLD, NSW & VIC Corefleet has become a supplier of choice in the provision of light commercial vehicle rental, lease, including set-up and maintenance, for the mining, oil and gas and civil construction sectors.

A new opportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager - North QLD. Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager this position will be based out of our Mackay branch with regular travel to our Moranbah branch. This position plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the existing client base, whilst pursuing growth and new business development in accordance with the regional sales, marketing and account management objectives.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Development and execution of a regional sales plan to ensure short and long-term objectives for sales, profit and market position are achieved
  • Identify and develop new business within the North QLD region via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing deals
  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Providing accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer and project developments using the tools provided
  • Providing accurate and timely reports as required

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a business to business sales position
  • Proven business development experience and sales results
  • Experience working within the motor vehicle industry or an industrial services environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business or related discipline advantageous
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced report writing skills
  • A high level of proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Licence to drive manual vehicles (C class) essential
