Description and Location

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Replicate Developer with expertise in Oracle databases, IBM iSeries (AS/400), and Apache Kafka for enterprise data replication, Change Data Capture (CDC), and real-time data streaming solutions.

 Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Replicate tasks for full-load and CDC-based data replication.

·         Configure and manage source endpoints for Oracle and IBM iSeries (AS/400 / DB2 for i).

·         Implement real-time data replication from Oracle and IBM iSeries to Apache Kafka and other target platforms.

·         Configure Qlik Replicate tasks, table mappings, filters, transformations, and error-handling settings.

·         Work with Oracle redo logs and IBM iSeries journaling for CDC.

·         Integrate Qlik Replicate with Kafka topics to publish database changes for downstream consumers.

·         Configure and troubleshoot Kafka endpoints, topic mappings, message formats, and data delivery.

·         Monitor replication latency, Kafka throughput, task failures, and data synchronization issues.

·         Perform data validation, reconciliation, performance tuning, and production support.

·         Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and application teams to deliver reliable data pipelines.

Required Skills

·         Hands-on experience Qlik replicate

·         Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and CDC.

·         Experience with IBM iSeries / AS/400 and DB2 for i.

·         Understanding of Oracle redo logs and IBM iSeries journaling.

·         Experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and streaming concepts.

·         Knowledge of Qlik Replicate Kafka target configuration and message formats.

·         Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance-tuning skills.

·         Experience: 5+ years in data engineering or database technologies, with hands-on Qlik Replicate, Oracle, IBM iSeries, and Kafka experience preferred.
