The Role • Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting. • Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and necessary state financial reports. • Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency as requested by leadership. • Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed. • Assist in monitoring compliance with relevant regulations. • Foster a collaborative team environment and celebrate team achievements. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred). • Minimum of five years of hospital accounting experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of financial management, analysis principles, and managerial skills. • Relevant experience in financial management and operations, including labor management, revenue analysis, expense management, contract negotiation, and utilization review. • Proven experience in budgeting (capital and operations) and implementing a strong internal control environment.
