Sr Network Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in network engineering, routing & switching, load balancing, firewalls & security, data center fabrics, and architecture leadership. This individual will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Routing & Switching: Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
• Load Balancing: Lead F5 engineering projects and migration initiatives to enhance load balancing capabilities.
• Firewalls & Security: Implement and manage security solutions including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Firepower, and zero trust architecture.
• Data Center Fabrics: Design and maintain data center fabrics using Cisco Nexus, ACI, and VXLAN EVPN technologies.
• Architecture Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership in developing technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and design standards.
• Certifications: Maintain CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCDP, CCIE Security Written, and other relevant Cisco certifications.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• CCNP Enterprise certification
• CCNP Security certification
• CCDP certification
• CCIE Security Written certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-availability enterprise routing
• Hands-on experience with F5 load balancing
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks, ASA, SASE/SSE, NAC/802.1X
• Familiarity with Cisco Nexus, ACI, VXLAN EVPN
• Previous experience leading engineering teams and technology roadmaps
