Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and customer focused Service Desk Technician II to join our IT team supporting multiple manufacturing and head office sites across Australia.

This is a hands on, visible role where you'll be the local face of IT, partnering with site operational leaders, end users, vendors, and global technology teams to ensure technology runs smoothly and effectively.

You'll provide Level 1 & 2 support across a broad tech landscape including Microsoft 365, endpoints, applications, and infrastructure, while also contributing to projects, system improvements, and technology initiatives.

This role will be based at our Helensvale and Yatala locations, with occasional interstate travel to our manufacturing sites.

What You'll Do
  • Provide professional, friendly and timely Level 1 & 2 IT support across hardware, software, and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, endpoints, applications, and networks
  • Log, manage, and resolve incidents within agreed service delivery timeframes
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals
  • Support onboarding, user setup, and executive level support
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and inventory tracking
  • Deliver end user training and guidance to improve technology adoption
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the service desk
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure initiatives
What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred)
  • 4+ years' experience in Service Desk / IT Support roles
  • 2+ years' experience supporting ICT environments in complex organisations
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft technologies, networking, and infrastructure
  • Understanding of ITIL and service delivery frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work independently
  • Ability to travel regularly between our Helensvale and Yatala locations, as well as occasional interstate travel to our manufacturing sites
