Bring financial insight to innovation and become our Finance BA in Supply Technology

Role Summary

We're looking for a Finance focused Business Analyst to join our Supply Technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping strategic delivery across our Finance technology ecosystem. You'll be embedded in an environment that spans Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FinOps), Basware Procure to Pay, and a suite of payment and finance platforms, working at the intersection of complex finance processes and modern ERP capability.

This role is ideal for a seasoned BA who brings genuine finance domain knowledge alongside strong technical fluency. You'll lead requirements definition across high impact initiatives, help shape the roadmap for Finance systems, and mentor a growing BA capability within the team. You'll work closely with Finance Product Leaders, Engineering teams in both Australia and India, and Architecture to drive outcomes that matter.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end to end requirements definition, scoping, and prioritisation for Finance system initiatives: Including D365 FinOps modules, Basware, and payment platforms
  • Analyse and optimise finance processes, system configurations, and data flows across the Source to Pay and Record to Report cycles
  • Facilitate workshops with Finance, Engineering, and Architecture stakeholders to gather requirements and guide solution design
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Supply, and Technology functions
  • Manage and maintain Jira epics, stories, and documentation in Confluence across the FCTG Atlassian space
  • Contribute to BA standards, process improvement frameworks, and delivery governance
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid level Business Analysts within the PM&E and Supply Finance teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor of Accounting degree, which is preferred
  • 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a Finance or ERP delivery context
  • Solid understanding of finance processes, including AP/AR, general ledger, procurement, or financial close
  • Experience working with or around ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, or Oracle
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for requirements and workstack management
Preferred Skills
  • Self motivated and comfortable operating in a fast paced, multi workstream environment
  • Confident facilitating sessions with both technical teams and senior finance stakeholders
  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to influence decisions across cross functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of clear, actionable documentation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Your Day to Day

You'll have direct influence over Finance technology outcomes across a global organisation, working on meaningful ERP and P2P initiatives. You'll help lift BA capability and work within a collaborative team that genuinely values continuous improvement, cross functional partnership, and delivery excellence.
