The Role

• Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain complex networks and network components.
• Perform configuration, preventative maintenance, and fault isolation of LAN equipment and telecommunications circuitry.
• Develop specifications and schematics for network architecture, ensuring optimal hardware and software selection.
• Maintain expertise in network hardware and software interconnection, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Plan and implement network enhancements and upgrades, conducting thorough testing of network systems.
• Evaluate and report on emerging network technologies to enhance network capabilities.

What You'll Need

• Expert working knowledge of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols, and hardware platforms.
• Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Firm knowledge of technologies such as DHCP, DNS, SSH, TCP, and UDP.
• Significant experience in WAN, LAN, datacenter routing, switching, firewalls, and network security technologies like IPsec and SSL.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), and TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS).
