Job description

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • 8 to 10+ years of overall experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data visualization.

  • Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

  • Advanced knowledge of:

  • DAX

  • Power Query

  • SQL

  • Semantic data modelling

  • Star and snowflake schemas

  • Row-level security

  • Report and model performance optimization

  • Experience developing KPI dashboards, operational reports, management scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.

  • Experience integrating and validating data from multiple business and technical sources.

  • Strong understanding of data quality, report testing, and source-to-report reconciliation.

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders and converting requirements into analytical solutions.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating applications from Qlik Sense or QlikView to Power BI.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

  • Experience working with energy, utilities, financial services, or other data-intensive industries.

  • Knowledge of Power BI Service administration, gateways, workspaces, refresh schedules, deployment pipelines, and access management.

  • Familiarity with Power BI governance, reusable datasets, certified semantic models, and self-service reporting.

  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification, such as PL-300, is preferred.

  • Experience leading small development teams or mentoring junior Power BI developers.
