Software Engineer Principal

We're looking for a Software Engineer Principal who thrives in Linux-based environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is excited to work with cutting-edge tools and containerized architectures.
What You'll Do
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable, containerized applications
* Build and maintain secure, high-performance systems in Linux environments
* Develop automation scripts and backend services using Python (3.x) and Bash
* Work with modern container platforms including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes
* Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
* Integrate messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
* Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
* Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible
* Collaborate using Git-based workflows and modern DevOps practices
* Contribute to next-generation development using Rust (experience or strong willingness to learn)What You Bring
Required Qualifications * Bachelor of Science degree
* 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
* Strong experience with: * Linux CLI and tools
* Bash scripting
* Python (3.x) development
* NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
* Containerization (Docker, containers)
* Kubernetes orchestration
* Helm chart development
* Git source control
* CI/CD principles and GitLab CI
* Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
* Experience with Rust or a strong aptitude and desire to learn it
Preferred Skills * SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
