We are seeking a Collections Representative for a leading nationwide distributor of propane, renewable propane, and various energy products and services. The Role

• Initiate collection activities on past-due accounts through calls, letters, and emails, ensuring thorough follow-up.
• Process credit card payments, accurately posting them to accounts and logging all related activity.
• Manage customer accounts by maintaining accurate information and data, ensuring a high level of service.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center to verify and correct any discrepancies in posted items.
• Resolve customer disputes to achieve mutually satisfactory outcomes.
• Analyze accounts receivable data to prioritize collection efforts and generate aging reports.

What You'll Need

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of collections experience.
• Proficient in managing customer accounts and data.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer and internal interactions.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
