Planner Scheduler Level 3 - Engineering and Construction
Location: Juno Beach, Florida (On-site)
Role Overview
An experienced Planner Scheduler is required to join the project Scheduling & Planning group for the Engineering and Construction Division. The selected professional will support the development, engineering, and construction of diverse energy technologies, including wind, solar, energy storage, transmission lines, substations, and pipelines. The position entails creating, maintaining, and tracking detailed project schedules to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and progress complex project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
• Prepare monthly construction progress reports comparing baseline approved schedules to actual progress, including critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, and manpower.
• Coordinate committing, decommitting, and outages of power resources with operations teams.
• Schedule and dispatch generation resources to economically balance load and generation in real time.
• Evaluate and approve regulatory compliance requests, tags, and hourly energy accounting functions with adjacent balancing authorities.
• Lead schedule review meetings with multidisciplinary project teams to gather scope, logistics, and constraints.
• Perform next-day generation planning functions and support real-time system operations during temporary operator absences.
• Run specialized programs to provide management with generation and cost projections for transactions.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a related technical field, or an equivalent professional certification.
Experience: Eleven to fifteen years of experience managing power system scheduling, project execution, and compliance reporting. Alternatively, a minimum of three years of dedicated scheduling experience or four years of project management experience tracking project plans against schedule baselines is acceptable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, NERC compliance standards, operational reliability, and energy accounting functions. Strong analytical skills and a valid, non-restricted driver's license are required.
Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, multidisciplinary meetings with diverse project stakeholders.
