HR Manager | Plessis, NY, United States | On-site

We're hiring for a well-established leader in the food service industry known for its extensive network and commitment to supporting businesses across the nation. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to champion HR initiatives and cultivate a positive workplace culture within their market.

The Role

  • Champion a genuine safety culture, prioritizing employee well-being and holding leaders accountable for proactive safety measures.
  • Drive a positive employee experience and high engagement by identifying and escalating potential risks and implementing engagement strategies.
  • Partner with market leaders to develop and execute department goals, ensuring consistent application and interpretation of company policies.
  • Support and execute communication and change management campaigns for HR and business priorities, fostering employee adoption.
  • Lead employee relations investigations, collaborating with internal stakeholders to summarize findings and provide recommendations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, staffing, retention strategies, onboarding, and performance management processes.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 6 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a professional HR role.
  • Proven experience consulting with and advising management teams on HR practices.
  • Strong foundation in core HR fundamentals, including ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, and Title VII.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; SHRM certification is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record.
