Role: Android Developer

Location: Chicago/RVA - Hybrid/Flexible

Rate: $82/hr

Contract Length: 6+ months

Required qualifications (must have)

Experience building Android applications

Proficient in Kotlin

Unit testing and UI testing experience

Preferred qualifications (nice to have)

Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude) and integrating AI-assisted workflows

Experience with open source frameworks and automated test tooling

EP Tech - Mobile/Web

Supports customer-facing digital experiences

Enables mobile app and web platform capabilities

Partners closely with Product, UX, Mobile Engineers, and Front-End Engineers

Delivers scalable customer engagement and messaging solutions

Project Details and Day-2-Day

Develop Android solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles

Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity

Actively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)

Own delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and Architects

Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams

Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms
