Rolls-Royce Solutions UK Ltd, part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems, is seeking an experienced People Partner to lead the UK people agenda. Reporting to the EMEA Vice President of People, you will be a key member of the East Grinstead Leadership Team and the sole HR lead on site.

You will partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into effective people and organisational plans. This broad, influential role covers strategic workforce planning, talent and succession, leadership development, performance, reward, organisational effectiveness, employee relations and cultural change.

Working closely with People colleagues and specialist teams across Europe, India and the UK, including Derby and Bristol, you will deliver a consistent and effective people service for leaders and employees. You will bring insight, constructive challenge and practical solutions that strengthen leadership capability and enable our people and business to perform at their best.

What you will be doing:
  • Partner with the leadership team to translate the people strategy into actionable plans that support business priorities.
  • Lead key people-cycle activities, including pay and bonus reviews, performance calibration, talent management and succession planning.
  • Develop strategic workforce plans aligned with current and future business needs.
  • Coach leaders through complex and sensitive people matters while supporting their development against Rolls-Royce leadership expectations.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters in partnership with Employee Relations and Legal.
  • Use organisational development insights and tools to identify opportunities to improve organisational performance, capability and culture.
  • Embed the People Team operating model, working collaboratively with People Services, centres of excellence, leaders and employees.
  • Lead global and local people projects and support culture change aligned with the Rolls-Royce People Deal.

Key Experiences and Qualifications :
  • Degree Qualified HR Professional, CIPD Level 7
  • Extensive experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role, preferably within an industrial and international matrix environment.
  • Strong commercial insight, with the ability to challenge business strategy and translate it into clear people priorities and plans.
  • Experience with working in a large Corporate Business ideally Manufacturing / Engineering Environments
  • Experience using organisational development, change and project management approaches to improve performance, capability and organisational effectiveness.
  • Proven experience leading TUPE activity and engaging and negotiating effectively with trade unions; experience negotiating pay agreements is desirable.
  • Broad HR knowledge, ideally gained within a centre of excellence operating model.
  • Strong coaching, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with credibility at senior leadership level and across functions.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively across different languages, regions and perspectives.
  • A growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge across the wider People Team.
