Windows Platform Ops AVP

Role: Windows Platform Operations Engineer (Assistant Vice President)
Location : New Jersey (Hybrid - approximately 2 days per week onsite)
Compensation : Up to $159,000 base salary + target annual bonus

We're partnering with a global financial technology organization that operates mission-critical enterprise infrastructure and is looking to add an experienced Windows Platform Operations Engineer to its Infrastructure team.
This is a hands-on 3rd Line Infrastructure role supporting large-scale Windows Server and AWS environments across highly available production systems. You'll take ownership of complex technical issues, help drive platform improvements, and play a key role in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:
? Providing 3rd line support across enterprise Windows Server and AWS environments.
? Managing and maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and datacentre infrastructure.
? Supporting production systems, incident resolution, problem management, and change delivery.
? Automating operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
? Participating in disaster recovery testing, on-call support, and planned maintenance activities.
? Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
? Identifying opportunities to improve platform reliability, automation, and operational processes.
? Acting as a technical lead on infrastructure initiatives and mentoring junior team members.

What we're looking for:
? Strong enterprise Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
? Experience supporting VMware infrastructure.
? Hands-on AWS infrastructure support experience.
? PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
? Experience with enterprise monitoring tools, backup technologies, SCCM, and ServiceNow (or similar ITSM platforms).
? Solid understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
? Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
? Experience working within a highly regulated or enterprise environment is a plus.
