Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing and modern ELT development using dbt (Core or Cloud). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable, production-grade data pipelines, optimizing performance and costs, and leading technical teams in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

  • Implement incremental models, snapshot strategies, and advanced SQL transformations.

  • Perform Snowflake query performance tuning and cost optimization.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for dbt and manage DevOps-driven deployments.

  • Integrate orchestration tools and establish automated data quality testing and observability frameworks.

  • Apply Snowflake security best practices and cloud data platform standards.

  • Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

  • Lead technical design reviews and mentor data engineering team members.

  • Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to engineering standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt (mandatory).

  • Advanced SQL and cloud data warehousing expertise.

  • Experience with incremental processing, snapshots, and ELT pipeline development.

  • Knowledge of dbt CI/CD, Git, orchestration tools, and DevOps practices.

  • Experience with automated data testing, observability, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

  • Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and onsite-offshore team coordination skills.
