Cross Domain Systems Engineer, Senior | Fort Washington, MD, United States | Hybrid | $86,800.00 - $198,000.00

  • *The Role**
  • Lead the development and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions for national security missions.
  • Manage customer engagement to define and capture complex user and security requirements.
  • Decompose and coordinate requirements for hardware, software, interfaces, and security controls.
  • Oversee system integration, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring alignment with Risk Management Framework accreditation.
  • Plan and implement cross-domain data flows, data handling policies, and user training to drive adoption.
  • Contribute to security improvements and advance Cross-Domain security objectives.

  • *What You'll Need**
  • Proven experience developing requirements (capability, system-level, hardware, software, user stories).
  • Experience creating technical written deliverables for system delivery and deployment.
  • Familiarity with online collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system accreditation processes.
  • Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment, including technical plans, schedules, and risk tracking.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of equivalent engineering experience.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of start.
