Katz Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a globally recognised OEM in critical cooling and UPS/Power solutions to find an experienced Service Technician to join their growing Sydney team.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and commissioning of critical cooling and UPS/Power systems across commercial and data centre sites in Sydney. Datacentre work is clean, ground-level maintenance on computer room air-conditioning (CRAC) units - no ceiling access required - and technicians are rotated between datacentre and general maintenance work to keep the role varied.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Service, maintain and troubleshoot critical cooling and UPS/Power systems on client sites
  • Commission computer room air-conditioning (CRAC) units
  • Represent our client professionally as a frontline technician in front of their customers
  • Work independently or as part of a team, prioritising your own workload across sites
  • Maintain compliance with safety and WHS standards
What You Bring
  • Certificate III - Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
  • Current driver's licence
  • Minimum 5 years' industry experience
  • Experience commissioning computer room air-conditioning (CRAC) units
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • White Card and Working at Heights ticketContractor/Supervisor Licence (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong customer service, organisational and time management skills
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook
